About Me

I’m a full-time multimedia journalist based in British Columbia, Canada. I often cover issues affecting marginalized communities.

From daily news to investigative stories, I amplify the potential of both journalistic pieces and social media clients through gripping narratives that engage and inform audiences effectively.

I hold an honours degree in Television from the University of Westminster, UK, which I pursued after being awarded the prestigious Scindia School & Westminster 100% scholarship. I followed this by earning a specialized Journalism grad diploma from Montreal, Canada.

I’ve worked for a film festival in Vancouver and as a full-time LJI reporter, covering underserved northern B.C. communities with a special focus on First Nations reporting.

Through working with diverse communities, I have improved my practice by crafting content with nuance and cultural sensitivity, ensuring that my work minimizes harm and respects the perspectives of all sources.

I strive to be fair, ethical and truthful in my journalism practice.

I love immersing myself into new cultures and spaces and am also an internationally certified Ashtanga yoga teacher who loves going on long trail walks.
